Chip Card Reader Model 5301
ISTEC’s Chip Card Reader offers a cost-effective data gathering system
previously unachieved for recording meter consumption. The 5301 Chip
Card Reader guarantees fault-free, reliable reading in the simplest
possible way. This versatile system allows data transfer from any ISTEC
product with a smart slot interface. Additionally, any meter with a
pulse output can be incorporated into the system using our Pulse To Chip
Card Converter. Data is transferred within seconds, making transmission
errors caused during typing or handwritten data entry outdated. The Chip
Card can store between 50-100 meters at one time. It then transfers the
data by serial number into an Excel spreadsheet. When the transfer is
completed, the Chip Card can be cleared for further use.
